Toilet dripping slowly

After toilet cistern fills water slowly feeds into the toilet as shut off isn’t complete. I’ve tried adjusting the shut off valve to lower the water level but it still leaks a little.
I’ve come directly to you as I was happy with your work last time. I’m needing the job completed by Saturday night if possible. Please let me know asap ph --- . Thanks John
