We have a toilet located on the second-floor bathroom that appears to have a water leak at the base, toward the back where it connects to the wall. The brand is Imperial, which seems to be discontinued and no longer available on the market. We suspect the waste pipe goes down through the floor (S-trap), as the wall is quite thin and unlikely to contain plumbing. The floor is tiled, and we’d prefer to avoid unnecessary tile damage if possible. We are open to either: Repairing the existing toilet if the issue is minor and parts can be sourced, or Replacing the toilet entirely if it’s not economical to repair, given its age and limited availability of parts.
