Preperation of house for interior painting

We have a 200sqm 6 bedroom house in Miramar, Wellington, that we are looking to repaint the interior of in the new year. Prior to repainting we wish to tipy up all the interior walls and ceilings, remove some old painted-over wallpaper, replace or repair sections of coving and make some minor building alterations (specifically remove a built in curtain housing and regib the area above the doors). We wil be also looking to make some interior renovations (new kitchen, bathrooms and moving of internal walls) in the new year so only approximately 70% of the house will need to be prepared for painting. There is nothing specifically difficult or problematic to be done, just a fair bit of finessing. I intend to post the renovation job once we have finalised plans. Photos can/will be posted later if required.
