Removal of Stippled Ceiling

Removal of approx 100sqm stippled ceiling concealed underneath an MDF board. The quote would be either
1) Cut and drop the ceiling and then replace the gib/plaster & paint.
2) Scrape, plaster and paint the ceiling
The house will be prepared (furniture removed) and we are open to the option replacing the carpet.
