patch 2 holes in walls

two holes in bedroom walls have been plastered over to repair, by owner, but the work is not smooth enough. Needs smooth coat of plaster then can be repainted with the paint available in the house . each hole was cut out to look for any moisture damage, none found .holes measure 700mm x 400mm each. House is in Papamoa Beach, can fit it in with other jobs you may have in the area? A guesstimate first, before going there please
