Faux polished concrete finish on new wall and floating shelf

We are installing a bioethanol fireplace into a newly built feature wall, with recess for TV. We want to cover the ‘chimney breast’ and adjacent wall with a polished raw (i.e., pale grey) concrete-look finish (Mortex or similar). We’ll also build a wall-to-wall floating shelf to look like a hearth, and want this covered in polished black concrete-look finish. The wall and hearth will be covered with hardie villaboard or similar. Attached sketch of wall (front and side elevation), and rough sketch of hearth. Work likely to be needed by mid July. We’d like to see examples of your similar work to be considered. Thanks.
