Repair holes in wall

I have three holes in my rental property made by previous tenant. Wanting repair this damage and possibly re-paint these (waiting for confirmation about what the correct paint is and whether can purchase it). The holes have been attempted to be repaired by the previous tenant but they have not done the best job.
Needs to be available either Friday or Monday (as I need to give 24 hours notice and these are the days I am available).
Attached are photos of two of the holes and one more is in the kitchen.
