Rockcote plaster sealant repair

I have two corner exterior wall joints that needs the sealant to be replaced by a Resene Rockcote applicator. It is on an upstairs balcony easily accessible. One of the joints only has a crack about a foot long and other one is the full length of the vertical wall. Photos attached. The house is plaster over block and was painted only 8 months ago so we still have some of the paint.
