Plaster ceiling

Kia ora, we have I think soft boards on a bedroom ceiling and are wondering if they can be plastered over.  We want it to look nicer - a smooth ceiling with no cracks between panels. I have attached photos.  There are six panels around 122 x 165, with one a bit smaller where the window is. The HRV, light and cornicing are all level with the panels so would need to be moved or worked around. We would ideally like this completed by 3 December. The pricing is very much an estimate as we are unsure of normal costs. Thanks
