Job description

Plasterboard Installation
Wellington

We have a 1915 house. We are currently having a new gas fire installed in the old fireplace, and we are looking to complete this room renovation by: * removing the old wall linings (plaster board and wall paper) * If possible we would like insulation added to the one external wall (note there is sarking under the existing plaster board). * supply and fit new wall linings and finish them to a high quality surface suitable for painting. We do not want the picture rail reinstated. * supply and fit new skirting (we can provide a sample and where to source this). * add architraves for a door to match those we have completed elsewhere in the house, along with a pelmet to house roller blinds (interior dimensions 100 x 100mm) on the two windows. * line the ceiling (it is currently exposed timber beams) to provide a base for a pressed metal ceiling, which we will source and fit separately unless you have particular expertise in that. We can find out what material is suitable. The room is approximately 3.9m x 5.5m, x 2.7m high.
