Repair to four holes in Gib in lounge

Four holes require filling/repair in our lounge ceiling & wall. 1) a hole in ceiling from an old vent site; 2) & 3) small round holes in ceiling where down lights have been removed; 4) small rectangle hole on wall where light switch has been removed; also area around remaining light switch that has been chipped. I have some Gib pieces, which may be suitable for patching. All holes to be finished to paint quality surface.
