Two Ceiling holes from plumbing repair to be patched up
Job description
Have two square holes approximately 250mm x 250 and 330 x 330 in size in the ceiling of a downstairs granny flat to be repaired. This is a fire-rated ceiling where two layers of 12.5mm fyreline gib was cut through to repair a water leak from above. A 3rd layer of ceiling gib can be seen in the photo. This was the original ceiling prior to the granny flat being built so the 3rd layer wont require repair,

Did exactly what was required to repair my ceiling without fuss providing for the future needs of my house while keeping costs down. He patched up the holes whereas another tradesman company wanted to go down the more costly route of replacing the entire bathroom ceiling. So I thank you for providing the simplest fix!
