Remove doorway and rekine hallway

We are planning to redo our laundry and there is a door from the laundry to the hallway we never use so we would like it removed. We have also been trying to remove some old wallpaper from the hallway but it was applied directly to the gib and has been painted over so it has been tearing the gib paper, so we would also like the hallway relined with new gib. We may also need to do this with two other bedrooms that have the same wallpaper, but are focussing on the hallway to start.
