Two Room low ceiling re-gib / sound proof / wire for new lights
Job description
Part of a basement floor two room reno as self-contained flat. Relatively low ceiling of both rooms is crappy old soft board. 1) Remove old ceiling; 2) Wire for new LED downlights; 3) Install sound deadening insulation; 4) Install new gib ceiling / gib stop and plaster to paint ready. Also need interior walls checked in 1-2 places for water tightness. Keen to keep costs down but need inspection and quote as not sure how difficult this job is. This job part of reno that includes new vinyl and carpet flooring, kitchen plumbing, and 3-4 power point and lighting loop installation. Kitchen being installed by Kitchen Studio early July.

Great guys - pleasure to work with. Brahian and team did a good job of some tricky wall and ceiling renos. Only disappointment was the finish on some of the subcontracted plastering which had large patched with tiny air bubble holes that I ended up finishing with skim coat. More my issue though as if I had raised it with Brahian I certain he would have had the subbies fix it. Recommended.
