Ceiling water damage
Job description
Heavy rain caused a leak into the ceiling at the front of the house, we think on account of downpipes blocking. Damage is to the ceiling (area of about 6m2 or so), a portion of the wall, and presumably the insulation in the ceiling. We have been waiting for a roof repairer to examine but have not been able to get anyone in as yet, although we believe the ingress of water has been fixed by clearing the downpipes and drains. Would be good to get someone in ASAP to look at the damage and quote on repair, including paint, so we can put it through our insurance company and get the works done. There is quite a lot of surface cracking appearing in the plasterboard now. Thanks very much.

Stace did a great job of the repair. The plastering is immaculate. His communication is good, he's really easy to deal with and to have around the house, cleans up after himself more than other trades and has been flexible with our moving schedules! We've been really happy with Stace, such that we have since hired him to paint our entire house for our renovation. Highly recommended.
