Gib repair and painting
Job description
After having some electrical work done which meant holes being cut in gib to run wires, I need to have the gib repaired, plastered and painted. The electricians replaced light fittings in a number of rooms, so the ceiling needs work in each of those cases. They ran wires along the interior of walls, cutting out sections of gib in some cases. Those holes need to be patched and repaired. They removed an old socket and some old wall mounted light fittings, so the walls behind these needs to be patched and painted. I also want to remove an old TV shelf, which will mean some fixing of the gib where it was mounted, followed by painting.

When I first advertised this job, two bidders told me that one part, painting a staircase, was too difficult. Only Europaint actually told me, yes, we can do this. And throughout, Anze had loads of helpful suggestions to ensure the finished job would look great. I'm very happy with their work and will be contacting them again when I next have painting or plastering that needs doing.
