Gib repair on staircase wall :)

There's a crack in the gib that runs about a meter down the staircase along the skirting. Then also one minor one by the light fitting. (as in photos) . May need to replace the whole piece, but hey i'm no expert. Cheers for viewing, hope someone can help out ! :)
