Install insulation and plasterboard into the ceiling of a basement flat in Onehunga. There's no cavity between this flat and the house upstairs, so any noise from above (footsteps etc.) comes straight down into the flat. The ceiling is also already quite low, so the plasterboard would need to be cut to fit in between the rafters (please see photos for reference) rather than just being attached to the bottom of the rafters. Ceiling area is 5.4 metres by 4.2 metres - about 23 square metres. Other suggestions for soundproofing this space also considered.

Great job, ceiling looks excellent, completed very quickly and cleaned up thoroughly afterward.
