Wall repair for curtain bracket in Avondale

We have a hole in our wall that we need repairing. It looks like the previous owners of this home had a circle cut in the wall (possibly a previous air vent hole) that they have gibbed/ plastered and repainted over. They then screwed the curtain bracket into this repaired part of wall and it has not been strong enough to hold the pole up. We need someone who can repair the hole and then rescrew the curtain bracket back in so we can hand our curtains again. It does not look like there was a stud or any wood behind where the curtain bracket was previously. They have screwed it directly into the plaster board. We would love to get this fixed as soon as possible! We are based in Blockhouse Bay Road in Avondale. Thanks!
