Rats in our attic - stop the cause

We have set rat traps in our attic and have caught a rat in our roof. But we suspect there're more as we heard noises on our roof. We couldn't identify where it came from. This has happened before and we have already cut the trees closest to the house where we were told they would be climbing up from. We would like someone to come and see whether they could help us identify where the rats could be coming into the roof from and stop the rats keep coming into our attic. Free inspection would be ideal.
