Remove wasps from our roof

We appear to have a gap in our soffits at the rear of our entry lobby's vaulted roof (see photo), and the only reason we noticed is that we saw wasps going in and out. We do need to fix the soffits, fascias, and repaint the roof -- but we need to deal with the wasps first! We'd like it done quite soon, as we are seeing more and more wasps -- and we really want to get the roof seen to before we get into the autumn. Thanks.

Bird removal from Ceiling cavity

We believe birds have somehow got into the ceiling cavity between the gutter and roofing iron. They could be nesting as we can hear them from inside the kitchen but not so much from the outside. It is a 2 storied house, and we do not have the ladders to get up there to check. We need someone to get up there and check where they are entering, have them removed and the small hole blocked up.
