Hello, my bungalow definitely has borer present (holes seen in weatherboard especially on southern side of house). But has had no treatment for 3 years (or potentially longer). Moisture levels taken 3 years ago showed it is dry and ventilated, but the borer is definitely present (and likely has been for a long period of time). There are currently no pets etc living in the house until April - so keen to take the chance to undertake treatment to reduce the borer's impact. Understand that getting rid of it would be a decade project and should be done at the time of recladding, but in meantime keen for advice on what most suitable to reduce the ongoing impacts of the borer.
