Cut and remove a section of concrete (between 2 expansion joints). Area is 2450mm x 1730mm. Excavate to a depth of 200mm, put a 50mm duct in bottom of pad (future proofing in case we need to feed a new water pipe under drive at any point) and seat the existing water pipe neatly in bottom of trench with sand around to protect it (if a plumber is required, we can arrange that at our cost, but should be enough slack in pipe to allow it to sit nicely). You'll just need to take care when excavating around the pipe. supply and place a basecourse of 100mm, compacted, drill and epoxy 4 x 16mm reinforcing bars into each side of two exposed slab edges. Then supply steel mesh, sit it on plastic chairs and tie it on to the starter bars. then pour concrete at a depth of 100mm. Broom finish.
