Job description

Touch-ups & Patch Repairs Ngaruawahia, Waikato

Published on 7th October 2025

Small but awkward painting job in bathroom. We have just had a new shower cubicle with sliding door and shower 'steam stopper' installed. The new cubicle walls are shorter than the old, leaving three small wall areas above needing repainting. Access suggested is some sort of mini scaffolding erected in the cubicle. Or perhaps the 'steam stopper' (slides out) top surface masked over and left in place. Then a long-handled brush/roller used from the side? Some sanding involved. The bathroom door could be removed to help access. Job inspection/estimate welcome. I have pics I can send of the work areas.

"A recent new shower installation left areas above the shorter shower walls needing painting. Lee (A2D Painting Tapui Limited) was chosen to attempt this challenging job. We were impressed with Lee's punctual, polite and friendly manner. He worked out how to overcome the access issues and was careful to avoid any damage to the new shower. Extra effort was made to blend the new paintwork in and clean up afterwards. We would certainly recommend Lee for a great paint job in any situation."

"Garry was a pleasure to work for - he communicated clearly and timely on what he needed for the job. There were no surprises once I got onto site which made my job a lot easier to do. I would be more than happy to do another job for him anytime! Really appreciate the opportunity to do this work. Ps. Garry - hope you're able to enjoy your new shower now :)"
