Interior wall prep for paint

We relocated a house from Auckland to our site in Kaitemako Road, Welcome Bay, Tauranga in October 2019. However, due to lockdown and delays it has caused, our builder has only just started the planned renovations. We require someone to prepare the internal walls for painting and then once that's done, my daughter and I will do the painting. The plan was for us to do a lot of the work ourselves, but my husband still works full time and doesn't have a lot of spare time, and I have a rare knee joint problem which is painful and affects my walking and standing for too long. We are on a strict budget and so far it has been pretty well spot on. So if we could get a couple of quotes from a painter / wall paper hanger / decorator, we would appreciate it very much. The house is approximately 124 m2 and has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom/laundry and an ensuite for the main bedroom. The builder may not appreciate other tradesman on site at the moment as he has a couple of restricted building work to do, but if its possible to get a quote first, then at least I can talk to him regarding a sensible time to begin the wall preparation.
