We have a couple of scratches in a small section of a newish powdercoated double garage door. Not sure what the best/most cost effect way to fix is but need these repainted/recoated somehow to prevent rusting. The scratches cover about three lengths of the door (each is about 10 cm x 5 meters) - I imagine the whole length will need painting so any change in finish is not that noticeable (but we don't want the whole door painted as the rest is in perfect condition). Ideally we would like a rough quote/estimate off the photo so we know whether it is likely to be in our budget or not. I have found a Dulux powder coating repair kit which sounds like it would be a solution but we are reluctant to do this ourselves as we are not experienced with getting an even finish with spray cans. If you have used this or similar product before with success that would be ideal.
