Paint approx 50 lengths of architrave prior to being installed
Job description
I have a three bedroom house that we had to move into before finishing. So because all the walls are painted already, we want to paint all the architraves before putting them on. So, I need someone to paint approx 50 lengths of 60mm bull nose finger jointed pine architraves, before they are cut up. I will provide the paint: primer is Resene Quick Dry Primer and the topcoat is Resene Enamacryl. they will require a prime coat, a quick sanding then and two top coats. Approx 10 have already been primed and sanded. The architraves can either be painted here, in my garage or under cover if it is raining, or you are welcome to take them away to your place and paint them at your place if you prefer. I need a fixed price quote for this job. I am not willing to award it to anyone who will only give an hourly rate. I would like it to be done either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, either this week 20, 21 or 22 Oct or next week 27, 28 or 29 Oct. We are on Sunset rd, North Shore, Auckland. this guy quoted a really good price. turned up and started but then left saying he'd be back the next day. Have never seen him again. doesn't answer my e-mails, phone messages or texts. Really screwed me around!
