I have a single story house clad partly in weatherboards and partly in plywood with vertical battens. There are large areas of aluminium glazing which reduce the area needing painting I want the painting limited to the cladding only (no eaves painting). There is also a single garage which has two walls to be painted, one of which is very largely filled by a roller door that does not require painting. The site is drive on. I live in Wellington but can meet on site to discuss. We have a window in the AirBnB programme from 10-19 March when we can inspect the site without disturbing guests. We would like the painting to be done as early as possible in April.

Because of lockdown I have been unable to visit the site to see the finished job myself. Our builder has however seen the work and reported favourably to me. The comms between the office of the lead company and its subbies was tiresomely poor and it took a lot of our time and patience to achieve a clear and concise description of the work. Even then the painters on the job did not follow the spec and completely omitted to paint two doors in the colour specified. This was later rectified .
