Job description
We have a rental property which was constructed circa 1986. The property has the original wallpaper throughout which is vinyl. We understand that for this type of wallpaper that the top part of the paper can be dry stripped without having to use a steam stripper and that its then possible to paint without having to line or skim the walls. We are looking for a quote to paint the walls in the lounge, kitchen/diner, and 3 bedrooms. As a separate quote we would like to know the cost to paint the walls in the hallway, bathroom, toilet, shower room, and laundry. We would like a quote based on the following: (1) Paint over the existing wallpaper (if possible) (2) Dry strip the existing wallpaper and paint the walls The property is currently tenanted but the tenants vacate on the 27th of September so we are looking for someone who could start straight away after the 27th. We will provide the contact details for the managing agents for shortlisted painters so that you can inspect before quoting

The job involved the redecorating of a rental property to a tight deadline as we had new tenants moving in. Brendon started the job on time and was great re his communication on progress. The job was completed on time and budget and he also did a couple of extra rooms which was great. Very happy with the workmanship and have no hesitation in recommending Brendon. We will be asking him to quote on more work next year.
