Job description

Exterior Painting
Franklin

1. The Dutch gables at each end of the house need extra coats of paint to keep the plywood cladding waterproof. They were first painted about nine or ten years ago when the roof was replaced. The areas to be painted are quite small. The roof is sloped and is two full levels above the ground at the front of the house and about one and a half levels at the back. There is a deck on the left side of the house from where access to the roof has sometimes been gained. The deck is at the same level as the top level of the house. There is enough of the original paint left for this work. Recently the paint was checked by Resene who say it is still good. Resene also remixed the paint. This painting needs to be done as soon as possible, for weatherproofing, before we have frequent wet weather. 2. Put anti rust rust treatment on the rust on the casing for the house alarm. The casing is below the surfeit at the front of the house. Repaint the casing. The same paint as is used for the Dutch gables.

The job was done based on a quote. No additional expenses. Communication was always polite but did not occur at times, when it should have, to let me know that the planned painting would not happen that day after all.
