Job completed minus painting of deck gate; questioned and was told it wasn't included in quote. Told they won't be returning to paint it; also not a drop of paint left for me when I have obviously paid for it. Feel disappointed with result.

"We are very sorry to get the comments that we did from this customer. We had to travel two hours to get this job. We put in a price which was accepted. In this type of contract job we put in a price and supply the paint. So the customers' belief that she owned the paint is actually incorrect. Also we priced to repaint this house. Yes there was a small gate unpainted on the deck. We did not paint this gate. When informed of this I explained we were two hours away so could not paint it even though it was not included in the original price. I found the lady rather rude to deal with. If she had managed to be a little more polite, I would of been very willing to perhaps do the gate for her when we were next over that way even if it meant sometime in the future during my holidays. I am very disappointed with this customer and her attitude throughout the job. I personally would not do any future work for her. To her credit she did pay promptly so I think maybe that this was a distance job ie she lived in Auckland the job was in onemana and we did not meet in person may have contributed to the less than perfect reviews etc"
