Olive house

My home was built in 2009 and needs touch-up work in places. I am looking for someone to do only two or three weeks, possibly more, of maintenance work but it can be spread over quite a few weeks. I am advertising now in order to line someone up to begin work at the end of September or early October. The job is basically external painting and oiling: • Remove lichen and oil barge boards (on upper story of two–story house) • paint the car port ceiling • remove mould and paint soffits all around the house • minor touch-up painting inside (repair earthquake damage) • sand, fill cracks and paint deck posts Ideally I would like to employ either an experienced early retiree or an experienced varsity student who is happy to scramble over the roof and tall scaffolding. Although the work involves mostly painting and oiling surfaces, basic handy-man skills are essential.
