I am looking for a painter with experience in Dulux Metalshield Epoxy Enamel painting of metal. If you haven't done it before, please do not contact me. I have interior staircase where risers will remain exposed, but treads will have wooden treads glued on. So before treads go on, the whole underside of the staircase needs to be painted as well as risers. Staircase is already primed, but on some risers there is 'orange peel' from temperature caused by welding, so these areas will have to be sanded and re-primed before the painting. Underside doesn't matter as it will not be easily visible (no light), so can be painted right away. Balustrade and handrail will be built in one piece so can be painted outside the house before it is welded in and then welds need to be touched up. Same for upper storey balustrade - 3 panels that can be painted outside the house before being installed. On the particle board part of the staircase (see photos), metal plates will be attached to risers, for the uniform look. Those will also be able to be painted outside, before fixing to the particle board risers with adhesive. Any painting in house has to be done with masking and drop sheets, as there can be no drips onto new flooring or overspray (if you spray) on the walls and floors.

Good tradesman, easy to talk to and agree on the scope, patient with my other contractors who were causing us major delays, as they were not finishing their parts on time, for Pars Property to complete their part and move on, so considering the chaos we were in, I think Pars Property did an outstanding job. I will definitely consider them for future jobs, hopefully they'll be easier than this one was, as I am not making the metal stairs ever again :-)
