Cedar house exterior staining job
Job description
NB., this is a staining job, not a painting job! We are wanting to change the stain colour on our cedar home from Resene oiled cedar to the darker Resene Woodsman. The cedar is moderately rough cut but has been regularly stained and is in good condition. During lockdown I have stained the single storey front side of the house already with two coats, but am pregnant (!) and uncomfortable with continuing the job myself and completing the remaining three sides of the house. For the remaining three sides of the house that I am posting this job for, we only need the second floor stained, the first floor is a recently painted different cladding. The back side of the house (the longest side) has a level surface at it's base. the LH and RH sides of the house are on a hill. We already have the stain and timber prep, this was purchased from Resene immediately prior to lock-down.

Matthew and his team were awesome. Great, clear, courteous communicators they did what they said they would, on time and for the cost they had quoted. Matthew was also obliging in costing and factoring some 'extras' (painting our fence, trims & front door) that we decided to add once the job was underway. No hesitation at all in recommending Matthew, we would engage him again.
