Full pack and removal - maybe storage as well

We need to pack and remove everything in my grandfathers house so that the carpet can be replaced. Nothing has been touched in years so there is a quite a lot of clutter. however what we want is to pack it all up and store it so that some of the essential stuff comes back and he can decide in his own time in the storage unit what else comes back over time. so pack up, remove and store and then bring back some of the stuff and keep storing the rest. we would also want to get a skip bin in and some things would be removed to the skip bin not for storage.
