Fitting rim lock to door

Small job. A replacement key operated rim lock needs to be fitted to a bathroom door. I have a rim lock from Mitre 10 which matches the old look that we would like to maintain on the basis that the existing wooden (rather than plastic) door knobs are re-fitted. However, the rim lock is a slightly different size to the original and so the hole for the spindle will probably need to be re-drilled. We work from home so daytime access not an issue.
