Fitting digital door lock

I want to install a digital Yale deadbolt lock above the existing lock on the main door. I have the lock with me and need installation on the door by cutting the required holes. I will configure the digital lock by myself after installing, so just needed the installation. After the install I need the existing door lock to be opened and disable the locking from there. I had done this in another house, this step literally takes no more than 5-7 minutes. I have two such locks to be installed in the same location.
