Fault in master bedroom with lights.

I am having some trouble with the lights in the master bedroom. When you flick the switch the lights come on for a second and then go out. There is a second light switch which works. but then won't work if you switch off and then try to switch it on again. House is about 4 years old, so not sure what the fault is.
