Small front porch ceiling light job

Hi,

I'm looking to modify / amend my front porch ceiling light to be motion sensing. At the moment, it is on or off only which isn't very smart...

I bought a motion light unit which i hope would be suitable for the replacement, looking for an electrician to help me install it. Also open to other mods if the unit is not suitable (eg. wire the existing light to a motion sensor separately).
