New Build Landscaping

I am wanting concreting done where the ranch slider is (there is already a small slab currently there so not sure if this will be a problem) and for it to carry on around the corner to end just before the heat pump vent. I am thinking of having a darker color concrete with lines through it to give the illusion of tiles. I am also wanting garden edging along the fence and house lines - I am open to what materials are used eg wood, stone or brick etc. I think some concrete stepping stones could be cool aswell.
