retaining wall design, quote and build

We have a large and steep back garden that we have been tidying up and trying to remove 60+ years of overgrown agapanthus from. We have done a little bit of landscaping work but we have realized that we have major gaps in our retaining wall. We would like to speak to someone about helping us design something simple and cost effective to reclaim as much of the overgrown space as possible; to make the space safe for kids (finishing the handrail); excavate to create some flat play space; and potentially adding some terraces to serve as seating/walkways. Looking to speak to people and discuss ideas in February 2020; work with someone to design the space and wall in March/April and *potentially* (depending on costs involved) have work done over winter and spring of 2020.
