Level Backyard & Install Retaining Wall

We have a backyard of about 40m2, with roughly a 50cm incline that we would like levelled off, with a retaining wall built towards the back to make some space for a small veggie/plant patch. Refer to the first two photos showing our section. Once levelled, we'd like to either have paving/patio or a deck, depending on cost. This would be an outdoor living space, with indoor to outdoor flow from our living room, through our 3-panel sliding door, out to this new outdoor space. There is access to this space from the street. Along the side of the house, the space is about 2.4-2.5m wide. The side of the house mostly flat, but not completely. Our house is on a private lane which is a bit narrower than the main road. Both of our neighbours have flat sections with a retaining wall and a raised garden bed - we would like something similar. Please see attached for photos of both types of garden beds We were thinking of the something more like the far neighbour (in picture 4), as my fiancée would like a bit of extra space for more plants. The third picture shows a bit more of a close up of the retaining wall plus raised garden bed. We would appreciate it if you could help us with a very rough ballpark figure, if possible broken down by components for the earthworks, paving, retaining wall. We are currently planning our wedding so we have a budget but it is relatively set. We really don't have much of an idea of how much all of this work might cost, so if you can point us in the right direction - we can figure out what we can realistically get done.
