A new retaining wall of around 14 metres long and 1.2 to 1.5 metres high to be built close by and as back up support for an existing 30 year old punga garden retaining wall which is starting to fall to pieces. I would like a treated timber wall, but open to suggestions as to which type of timber to be used, including punga logs. I am looking for at least ten years of life, preferably 15-20 years, but want to keep the cost down. Access either end, and power and water close by. Work to be started as soon as possible (in Level 3. next week!) Have added photos.
