Jospeh Street Retaining

I have a small back (approx 5mx7m) yard that is on a very steep slope. At the bottom of the slope is a water channel running across the bottom of the section. I’m needing some help with how I can best utilise the section. Can I add drainage to the bottom and fill it in? And also need retaining done to flatten as much of the section as I can. Potentially terrace the retaining to make 2 flat areas.
