Carpark widen and retain

Job image

Job description

Landscape Retaining Walls (Below 1.5m)
Hutt Valley

My car parking space needs to be widened, flattened a little, and some small retaining walls put in place. I think this will require some earthworks, small retaining walls and either putting down weedmat and some stones/tiles, or a concrete pad. My key annoyances are the volume of weeds that grow through, the inability to park right in and still open the doors, and in big rains the water drains through here and washes the current gravel into the street guttering and could lead to flooding. I have attached some photos and will describe the space now: It is 7500deep from the inside edge of the footpath to the back of the current parking spot. The current width is 2300, and the little retaining walls there now are just over 500 tall. The space on the left (looking from the road) is about 1400 to the boundary line, and 1200 to the stairs on the right. I would be keen to widen it to 3500 to fit a car and open doors comfortably, put the new wheelie bins the council are making us have in the back of the car parking spot, and stabilise the pad somehow. I am looking at at minimum of a weedmat and some sort of ground cover (stones which won't wash into the drain when it rains, tiles, or concrete the pad, concreting seems the most expensive but long-lasting) Timing-wise I would be aiming to get this done around February as the land is really dry by then and should be ok to do, open to earlier if someone has availability earlier. I would want to keep the cost below 10k and happy to do some of the work myself
