Regrading levels at entrance

We have had some new cladding put on house and now need to drop the ground level by about 30 -50cm in the area outside laundry door. There is a huge stone slab which did form the old pathway but this needed to be lifted to access the new cladding. The ground level needs to be dropped and graded out slightly away from the house and the stone can be reused as a paver. Loose gravel can be reused as well. It is a tight area to work in but quite a basic job. We need a no frills solution so that it is safe to come in and out and looks ok.
