Back yard

My back yard has a slight elivation and I would like to put a reataining wall come garden along the back fence and level the remaining section off . I have photo of what my neighbour has done I am looking at similar. The biggest issue is the access to the back yard the side of our ouse is very narrow. Or there maybe an option to remove a side fence panel to get access. Depending on cost I may also be looking at a small paving path to the side of the house.
