Landscape design for front lawn and path install down sideway

Hi there , we have just finished our construction on our house build and now require some landscaping for our front lawn and also a sideway pebble and stone path to lead down the side of the house . We live on a large slope and houses are at the top of the hill so something low maintenance that can withstand drought like conditions would be perfect . We would love some easy turf / lawn at the front if possible but I’m stumped for further ideas for the space due to the slope
