New grass, brushwood screen and more

We've recently moved into a new home, we've done a few bits and bobs outside but we are now exhausted and would love a hand to get things finished. The first job is to prep. for a small grass area (30msq) (where temporary vege patch is, as per photo). The next to put up a temporary brushwood screen to hide an ugly wall of dirt (see pic). The last to tidy up the path around deck with some gravel or potentially grass... What's there currently is quite hard to break up and smooth out (clay based). It doesn't need to be pretty, just practical.
