Garden tidyup

We have a space, approx 1 m in width, between the outside of our garage and surrounding boundary fences. We would like to have this area cleared of the grass/weeds/ivy etc that are currently occupying the space and have it flattened and aggregate/gravel/stones around the outside. This would ideally be low maintenance and have minimum to no weed/grass growth.
